AfterSentry Verified: a potential result is not a result obtained
Savings and tracking apps can easily display impressive amounts: refund detected, warranty still active, price potentially recoverable, avoidable subscription. But an opportunity is not yet a result.
AfterSentry uses the AfterSentry Verified principle to separate what could be recovered from what has actually been obtained.
Three simple levels
To be checked
A signal exists, but the available elements do not yet allow for a conclusion. A date, proof, merchant policy, or confirmation may be missing.
Confirmed
The fact or eligibility is sufficiently documented: for example, a refund has been announced by the merchant, a warranty is still active according to the available documents, or a deadline is clearly identified.
Verified
The final outcome is confirmed. For a refund, this means that the funds have actually been received or that the user confirms the final result. For another process, it means that the action has succeeded and the outcome is known.
Why AfterSentry does not count promises
A merchant can announce a refund and then delay it. A refund can be partial. An action can be refused. An estimate can change after verification. Counting too early creates a flattering but misleading metric.
AfterSentry therefore prefers to display a clear separation between opportunity, expected result, and verified result.
Money Recovery without a false counter
When a purchase requires a follow-up or a recovery process, Money Recovery helps structure the case: proof, amount, dates, contact person, next action, and status of the request. But the amount is not considered recovered until the final outcome is confirmed.
A rule of trust for the entire application
AfterSentry Verified does not only concern money. The same logic applies to sensitive information: an estimated date remains estimated, a potential right remains to be confirmed, a product alert must actually correspond to the right model or the right batch.
This rule allows AfterSentry to prioritize trust over marketing effect.
What the user sees
- confirmed facts and their source when available;
- points that remain to be verified;
- actions taken or prepared;
- the final result when it is confirmed;
- Verified metrics that do not add up simple possibilities.
The difference between alert and protection
An alert draws your attention. Complete protection keeps the proof, tracks the case, prepares the action, and measures only what has actually succeeded. This is what links AfterSentry Verified to the AfterSentry Loop method.
