Subscription renewal: keep the next deadline under control
A subscription becomes difficult to manage when the renewal date, price, and cancellation terms are scattered. AfterSentry allows you to centralize this information to make decisions before the deadline.
Information to save
- subscription date;
- billing cycle;
- known next renewal date;
- current price and any announced increases;
- non-renewal or cancellation terms;
- proof of a cancellation request, if applicable.
Tacit renewal: the legal benchmark
For service contracts concluded for a fixed term with a tacit renewal clause to which Article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code applies, the professional must inform the consumer in writing of the possibility of not renewing the contract within the period provided for by the text. Specific rules exist for certain sectors: therefore, the relevant contract must always be checked.
Categorize the situation
Confirmed: next deadline, price, and terms are identified in a recent source.
Probable: the frequency is known, but a date or term still needs to be confirmed.
To be verified: terms are outdated, contradictory, or absent.
Proof to retain
Keep the subscription email, applicable terms, renewal or price increase notifications, and cancellation confirmation. A dated screenshot can be useful when information in a customer account area changes.
